Project Lifecycle

The image shows the JISC infoNet Approach to project management. There are 5 major phases to be considered. They are project start-up, managing, controlling, planning and project closure. Beginning with start-up the approach then moves into an iterative cycle of managing, controlling and planning before project closure can take place.
