System Implementation infoKit

An overview of this infoKit is available in either multimedia format (requires sound) or static html.

Introduction

Welcome to the System Implementation infoKit. The Kit comprises four distinct sections which will help guide you through the minefield of systems implementation:

This introductory section describes the types of system covered, where implementation fits into the traditional systems lifecycle and why this infoKit has been provided. The navigation on the left-hand side of the Kit shows detailed links for the section you are in plus the main headers for the other three components:

Planning a System Implementation which considers the factors that will play a part in the process of implementing a system.

Managing a System Implementation which examines key approaches to managing, monitoring and communicating the activities surrounding a system implementation.

Conducting a System Implementation which concentrates on the foremost activities which collectively bring about an operational system.

As you move through these components the left-hand navigation will change to show the detail for the section you are currently in and the 'rolled-up' headings for the other sections. As you might expect for such an important topic, this is a large infoKit!

If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
