As referenced in part 2 of this section. Stakeholder identification methodologies are described.
Robertson, S. & Robertson, J., (1999) Mastering the Requirements Process. Addison-Wesley. P33
This text covers the whole requirements specification process including the identification of stakeholders. It references a number of similar publications which will allow you to carry out more detailed research into this aspect of systems design.
Checkland, P & Scholes, J., (1991) Soft Systems Methodology in Action. Wiley. P27
In his soft systems methodology Checkland refers to customers, actors and owners as the systems stakeholders and describes the building of a rich picture of their requirements.
