buildingbridges Conference

How can we ensure that records and information management continues to meet the needs of the staff who need it most?

What approaches to records and information management are currently proving successful and why?

How can we tackle some of the most challenging aspects of implementing records management systems?

How can we prove the benefits of what we do?

Find out the answers to these and many more of the most pressing questions facing records and information professionals working in the further and higher education sectors.

Spread over two days and centred around Newcastle-Gateshead's vibrant quayside this promises to be one of the most important events of the year for records and information professionals working within the further and higher education sectors.

Conference Programme»

The conference includes:

  • presentations and facilitated discussion sessions featuring leading figures from within the sector, experienced records and information management experts and practitioners - further details in conference programme

  • the opportunity to contribute to a major new records management research project

  • an advice clinic providing the opportunity to receive free expert one-to-one guidance regarding your records & information management systems

  • the opportunity to socialise and network during an evening drinks reception at The Sage, Gateshead's iconic music venue.

  • a night's free accommodation and breakfast at the 4-star Copthorne Hotel, situated in the heart of Newcastle's bustling Quayside

Places at this event are free* to those employed by UK further and higher education institutions. As places are strictly limited to only 75 delegates and we anticipate high demand, applications are initially restricted to three per institution on a strictly 'first-come-first-served' basis.
