AoC Annual Technology Conference

The 2008 conference is entitled Digital Natives, Digital Spaces because it will examine the distinction between those who are ‘skilled’ in the use of technology and those who are ‘literate’ in its use (whether learners or teachers), and it will explore the spaces, physical, virtual and social, in which learning takes place. The aim of the conference is to better understand what we mean when we speak of digital natives and digital spaces. In so doing, the conference will challenge current practices in the way e-learning is supported in colleges and training providers through existing staff and management structures and the use of space. Key themes of the conference will be Teachers as Innovators, Personalisation, Innovative Learning Spaces and Evidence based policy and practice. JISC infoNet have an exhibition stand at this conference.

If you can read this text, it means you are not experiencing the Plone design at its best. Plone makes heavy use of CSS, which means it is accessible to any internet browser, but the design needs a standards-compliant browser to look like we intended it. Just so you know ;)
