Audio Transcript - Processes

mp3 | Emma Purnell, University of Wolverhampton (41 secs)
Emma describes how e-portfolios support the learning process

My personal perceptions of the e-portfolio for Learning and Teaching is that it supports the whole process of learning, the journey from start to finish and the added bonus you get from e-portfolio is often the product you get at the end of it that is assessed is also evidence of the process because it involves the formative feedback that you get throughout the dialogue that the tutor's had with the student. The fact that you can see the evidence and the product growing alongside and it's not very easy to see the process in a lot of the things we do and I think e-portfolio for me allows that much more easily than it does in any other method that we have.
