What technology is being used and how is it being used?
The space has a variety of facilities available including VOIP phones, laptops, PCs, wireless and wired broadband and audio-visual equipment.
A mobile screen is to be introduced into the space for the audio-visual equipment to link to in order to have meetings and presentations. It is planned that the wide floor space in the flow areas can be used more fully with the introduction of this type of flexible equipment.
The boardroom is equipped with a range of IT, audio-visual and telephony equipment including a ceiling mounted digital projector and an interactive whiteboard.
How does the technology add value?
The technology is able to support the clients in presenting a particularly professional and flexible approach to customers. It also enables collaboration where an interactive environment is required. With a mix of fixed and portable equipment and wireless internet available throughout the space there is built in flexibility allowing the residents to get the best possible use of the space.
