The Kit comprised of four distinct sections to help guide you through the minefield of systems implementation.

The introductory section described the types of system covered, where implementation fits into the traditional systems lifecycle. The other three components were:

• Planning a System Implementation which considers the factors that will play a part in the process of implementing a system
• Managing a System Implementation which examines key approaches to managing, monitoring and communicating the activities surrounding a system implementation
• Conducting a System Implementation which concentrates on the foremost activities which collectively bring about an operational system
