Records and Information Management

The future...

Taking a holistic approach to the management of records and information

The records and information that your institution creates and uses can either represent an asset or a liability. Into which of these camps it falls is largely dependent on how it is managed. Changing technologies, legislation and regulatory requirements all impact on an institution's own records and information needs.

How can JISC infoNet help you?

JISC infoNet is committed to disseminating material relating to new developments in the sector and their strategic implications to an institution's records and information management processes. To this end JISC infoNet has developed a series of infoKits and guidance notes designed to promote good practice in the development of records and information management processes. There are also a number of tools that have been developed for institutions to adopt and tailor to their own business needs.
