Exemplars and Case Studies
JISC infoNet is dedicated to providing materials that are of real value to institutions and to promote and share good practice amongst the sector. To this end JISC infoNet commissions case studies to show case the use of its materials and resources or document innovative approaches to records and information management. There is also a JISC infoNet award for innovation in records and information management, which seeks to promote the positive role of R&IM and encourages innovation.

espida Project

Case studies trialling the use of the espida methodology in relation to records management project proposals. The espida project at the University of Glasgow is a methodology to assist project proposers to tease out the benefits that arise from information projects.

Award for Innovation in Records & Information Management

The JISC infoNet award for innovation in records & information management is run biennially and has been established to promote the positive role records management can play in institutional life, and to encourage innovation in the way in which records management issues are addressed.
